About the Artist:

This freelance pattern designer and illustrator is based in Nottingham, England, and is represented by the Bright Agency.

After graduating in 1999 with a first-class degree in textile design, she spent two years at a print design studio in New York City, creating hand-painted graphics and patterns for womenswear and kidswear. Upon returning to her hometown, she worked as an in-house print designer for a major childrenswear retailer before transitioning to freelance work in 2012. Her clients include Glick, Dashwood Studio, The Foggy Dog, The Influencer Initiative, Little Sleepies, Sand + Fog, Asda, and Sainsbury’s. Her designs have been featured on children’s clothing, shoes, accessories, pet products, craft fabrics, greetings cards, gift wrap, and children's toys and games.

Known for using bold, bright colors, she creates whimsical worlds filled with smiling flowers, cute fruit, and playful animals. She hopes to spread joy through her art, aiming to bring a smile to those who see it. Passionate about patterns from a young age, she enjoys the mathematical precision involved in technical repeats and finds great fulfillment in seeing her designs come to life on fabric.
